My favourite place now. Two breakfast at 6:30 after watching the sunrise plus diving takeaways 👍🏽👍🏽 They have a menu, the sandwichs are nice and the people are nice! Went again for brunch

The absolute best Egyptian food I’ve ever had! Honestly, I am blown away. I’ve tried several high-end restaurants and even 5-star hotel buffets during my stay in Egypt, but Dahab Cafe beats them all by a mile. The flavors are authentic, rich, and taste like a home-cooked meal made with love. If you want the real taste of Egypt, skip the fancy hotels and come here instead. 10/10 – I’ll be dreaming about this food!

I've been a customer for about 5 years. My order is always the same: 6 1/2 loaves of baladi bread — 2 Alexandrian fava beans with eggs, 2 falafel with eggplant, 2 potatoes. I always pay 140 EGP. If I get 3 1/2 loaves (one of each), I pay 70 EGP. On February 18, 2026, between 6:50 and 7:00 PM, I came and ordered: 1/2 Alexandrian fava beans with eggs, 1/2 falafel with eggplant, 1/2 potatoes. The cashier told me the total was 150 EGP. I calmly asked him how that was possible when the usual price is 70 EGP. At first, he tried to convince me I was wrong. Then he said he would give me a special discount. This wasn't a discount. It was a higher price, and then he brought it back down to the normal price as if he were doing me a favor. I love Egypt and I respect the Egyptian people very much. Egyptians are respectable, honorable, and hardworking people. But actions like these damage the country's image and diminish foreigners' trust in the wonderful Egyptian people. And this happened on the first day of Ramadan, which is unfortunate. I hope the management will pay attention to price transparency. /// I have been a regular customer here for about 5 years. My usual order is always the same: 6 half-baked Egyptian bread sandwiches — 2 Alexandrian beans with egg, 2 falafel with eggplant, 2 potatoes. I always paid 140 EGP for this. When I order three halves (one of each), the price has always been 70 EGP. On February 18, 2026, between 6:50 PM and 7:00 PM, I visited the café and ordered: — Alexandrian beans with egg, — falafel with eggplant, — potatoes. The cashier told me the total was 150 EGP. When I calmly asked how that was possible, he first tried to convince me that I was wrong. Then he said he would “make a special discount just for me.” This was not a discount. It was an attempt to charge a higher price and then present the normal price as a favor. I truly love Egypt and deeply respect the Egyptian people. Egyptians are honest and hardworking. But behavior like this harms the country’s image and reduces foreigners’ trust. It was especially disappointing that this happened on the first day of Ramadan. I hope the management ensures price transparency.

Simple, affordable, and decent food. Loved their foul and falafel.

Very good and inexpensive, it's a shame that not all the choices are listed on the menu.
