Sayadya Restaurant

I'm currently staying at this hotel, and it's the only place I've been able to have a proper dinner. I'm not a meat eater, and I basically have nothing to eat at the buffet for dinner. The same fish is always battered, and there's no seafood. Greens and vegetables are included, and even then, there are no grilled vegetables—it's a complete mystery to me. Of the 15 hotels I've stayed at, this is the first one that shocked me. Apparently, my travelers were right; I decided to see for myself. It's not the same as before... I'll write a more detailed review! Anyway, back to the point! I don't know what the menu is like here, but there was a choice of meat and fish. You can reserve your meal on your phone using a QR code, which is very convenient. The restaurant has a Moroccan theme, a very authentic atmosphere, and the staff are all polite and friendly. Reservations are for 7 and 8 PM; I was with my daughter. First, they brought out three types of appetizers with flatbread, then seafood soup with some red fish, squid, and the rest—I don't know. Fortunately, there wasn't much of it, so my daughter doesn't eat that kind of thing, but I liked it. Next came the main course: grilled red fish, shrimp, battered squid, and rice. By the way, everything was deliciously prepared, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and finally, fruit and oriental sweets—everything was wonderful. One thing: people! Why do you sign up and just turn around and leave if you're not ready for a restaurant where they bring your food and you have to wait? You're wasting the time of those who prepare it and try to make your evening enjoyable... It was terrible. Three tables simply left mid-dinner... apparently they liked the buffet with French fries. The meat was brought out on a hot plate—ribs, which we ate at the next table. It looked very nice, and they loved it because there was nothing left. Reading the reviews, I'm surprised, because everything was very good!!

A Pleasant Surprise, Quality Over Quantity. The food selection isn’t huge, but what they serve is genuinely good, especially for a buffet. The service is quicker than in most regular restaurants, and the staff always asks if you'd like a drink or suggests something based on your taste, which is a nice touch. The breakfast pancakes are outstanding, soft, rich in flavor, and perfectly paired with strawberry jam. Honestly, this kind of taste you’ll only find in Eastern Europe, if you’ve never had pancakes like that, don’t miss them here. The beef stew was also excellent, slow-cooked, flavorful, and hearty. The overall atmosphere reflects a classic Egyptian style, calm, clean, and welcoming. Not flashy, just genuinely well-done. Worth a visit if you appreciate quality over volume.

Don't waste your time on raw, cold food; there's not much of it. The only thing I liked was the ice cake; apparently it wasn't made here.
