Tam Tam middle eastern specialties

We had an incredible experience at Tam Tam during our trip to Sharm El Sheikh in January 2026. We ended up visiting twice because the food was consistently excellent both times. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality traditional Egyptian food, this is the place to go. A special mention goes to Fayyad (the owner/manager), who made our visits truly memorable. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering us several complimentary tasters to ensure we experienced the best of the menu. It is rare to find such genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a true taste of Egypt!

I agree with the reviews. I don't think you'll find anything better in Egypt. Good hookahs, no off-flavors. When we were there, the selection wasn't very wide; the tobacco selection was limited to must-haves, but they say they also have Burn and Dark. $30, better to have one than three at the hotel. Great view from the terrace, but most importantly just amazing food, food in the hotel now feels pathetic. It took them a while to prepare it though, but the waiter/owner was the kindest person on earth. We will definitely comie back again, but you have to have a couple of hours available with their speed

Every food item we tried was amazing. Totally recommend. The waiting times at about 2pm were long though.
