A well-built but dying hotel. It feels like they're closing it down tomorrow, and they're not spending any money on service, including the kitchen. These are truly leftovers. The space is small, cozy, and nice. The pool bar blares music all day. If you want to sleep during the day, you'll listen to it. Speakers in the buildings play their own music. If you have a room next to this speaker, you'll be listening to two songs at once: utter pop from the bar and something else. There's mold in the bathroom, everything is half-functional, and the room smells musty. But there is a refrigerator. The dining room strictly controls the meat supply for lunch: by the gram. Dinner, by the way, is good: two different types of meat and leftovers from lunch. The selection is modest, just so you don't go hungry. There's a Mac nearby. But you didn't come here to eat. And everything is prepared with tap water—a test for your digestive tract. It's best not to drink non-bottled drinks anywhere, neither in the dining room nor at the bar. The dining room is mediocre. Sleeping is okay, as far as the bed goes, but it's a matter of luck. Mosquitoes are everywhere, biting unnoticed. The area is great, but they don't take you to Fanar Beach anymore. There's a shuttle once a day to a distant beach in the Hadaba Bay area, a 40-minute walk, and a taxi is $2. I was fine; I didn't expect anything. Overall, it's a tough, cheap, budget hotel. The staff is good. It's just that the hotel itself is for the poor, so don't expect anything. The grounds at the back are unfinished and abandoned. On the outside of the buildings, if God forbid you get a room with a balcony overlooking it, it's just a dump, covered in old trash, and they don't clean it. Ask for a room with a pool view, or at least on the second floor. It was actually nice there, if you're prepared for spartan conditions.
